Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and maintain clean, efficient, scalable Python code for healthcare software projects.
- Implement backend services, APIs, and integrations with healthcare platforms and other systems.
- Develop and optimize database interactions, queries, data manipulation, retrieval, and storage.
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Build and support RESTful APIs for data exchange between healthcare systems.
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and test automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions meeting business and customer requirements.
- Document code, workflows, and best practices and participate in knowledge-sharing.
- Stay current with Python, healthcare IT, and related technologies while seeking mentorship and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional Python programming experience.
- Proficiency with Python and libraries such as PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, Polars, or similar frameworks.
- Basic database management and querying experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe or Scrum, JIRA, sprint planning, and change and testing tracking.
- Experience writing and executing unit and integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Preferred: federal consulting experience; healthcare data, claims processing, payment systems, or financial/banking systems experience; healthcare domain awareness including HIPAA; and knowledge of Docker and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
