Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve ambiguous business problems and translate them into elegant technical solutions.
- Build large-scale systems using object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
- Innovate and build near-real-time streaming platforms.
- Design, launch, refactor, re-architect, and deprecate multi-tier systems handling large amounts of data.
- Use AI coding agents for design, implementation, testing, code review, and end-to-end feature delivery while owning correctness, security, and operational quality.
- Create context and scaffolding that improve coding-agent effectiveness and quality across the codebase.
- Identify and implement agentic workflows for software development lifecycle automation, including triage, on-call investigation, refactoring, migrations, and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience using generative AI tools, crafting effective prompts, evaluating AI-generated output, and identifying AI integration opportunities for products and services.
