Base Salary
$126k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices using OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
- Use GitHub Copilot, Claude, and other approved AI development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing coverage, and efficiency.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and functional accuracy.
- Develop user interfaces and administrative tools supporting business workflows.
- Create scalable event-driven solutions using Kafka and distributed messaging platforms.
- Architect and optimize an AI agent orchestration layer and runtime harness for multi-step task execution and model routing.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and production support practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical design discussions, and cross-functional Agile delivery.
- Mentor engineers through knowledge sharing, design collaboration, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent experience and typically 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Experience developing web applications with Angular, React, Vue, Next.js, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience designing low-latency agent execution layers that manage multi-step tool execution through harness or orchestrator concepts.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience with source control, software delivery practices, automated testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- Preferred experience with Azure, cloud-native application development, Docker, Hibernate, JPA, Redis, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, Liquibase, Flyway, and Dynatrace.
- Preferred experience with distributed tracing, metrics, structured logging, and healthcare, pharmacy, or highly regulated industries.
