Responsibilities
- Translate customer-facing business requirements into scalable, secure solution architectures across CRM, service and support, partner engagement, revenue operations, and digital experience platforms.
- Lead architecture for complex, non-routine, and underdefined initiatives and establish solution approaches, patterns, and decision frameworks.
- Own solution outcomes through delivery by guiding decisions, evaluating trade-offs, and maintaining alignment with intended business value.
- Design end-to-end solutions addressing business, functional, non-functional, security, scalability, governance, customer experience, and revenue requirements.
- Develop implementation-ready architecture artifacts including integration patterns, data flows, APIs, workflows, diagrams, decision records, and risk mitigation approaches.
- Assess and integrate AI/ML capabilities responsibly with human oversight, auditability, and strong data governance.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders on architecture direction, build-versus-buy decisions, roadmaps, and investment decisions.
- Mentor architects and technologists, guide architecture reviews, and promote reusable customer platform patterns across functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in solution architecture, customer platform architecture, or other advanced technical roles, including leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced expertise in architecture modeling, customer journey and process design, data and integration architecture, API design, and non-functional requirements engineering.
- Deep experience designing complex customer-facing solutions across platforms such as CRM, customer service and support, digital experience, partner engagement, or revenue operations.
- Strong knowledge of API-first, event-driven, asynchronous, and workflow orchestration integration patterns.
- Ability to solve complex, non-routine, underdefined problems by establishing methods, standards, and architectural approaches.
- Expert understanding of governance, security, privacy, compliance, and control considerations in customer-facing solution design.
- Strong communication, influence, stakeholder alignment, and architectural leadership skills without direct authority.
- Advanced degree or relevant certification may be preferred.
