Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
- Establish consistent cloud architectures, standards, operating models, documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Partner with application, DevOps, product, and global cloud teams on product launches and platform enhancements.
- Implement Azure identity, governance, access controls, networking, firewalls, WAF, VPNs, and private connectivity.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes and AKS environments, including DNS, ingress, certificates, and cluster security.
- Provide cloud architecture guidance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive reliability, observability, automation, and platform modernization improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud, Platform, or DevOps Engineering roles.
- Experience operating enterprise-scale SaaS or hybrid cloud environments.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure; AWS or GCP exposure is preferred.
- Proven Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Azure Policy, RBAC, identity, access management, and governance.
- Strong enterprise cloud networking knowledge, including load balancing, firewalls, WAF, VPNs, and private endpoints.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on Kubernetes/AKS, DNS, certificate management, and PowerShell scripting experience.
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and risk management concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and production-operations skills.
