Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary escalation point for DevOps and infrastructure incidents across AWS and Azure.
- Troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, automation failures, and containerized application environments.
- Support Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm environments, including EKS and AKS.
- Create and improve SOPs, automation scripts, runbooks, and incident-handling processes.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
- Manage IAM policies, access controls, VNet/VPC configurations, security groups, and load balancers.
- Monitor cloud environments and analyze logs using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and related tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, cloud platform, and security teams to maintain stable and secure services.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement.
- Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, and support team performance and execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure operations, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure environments.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD tooling, and automation scripting.
- Experience supporting a 24x7 rotational support model.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Bash, Python, Ansible, and ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM policies, compliance standards, networking, monitoring, and incident management.
- Relevant AWS and Azure certifications, such as AWS DevOps Engineer or Azure Administrator Associate.
- Strong documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
