Base Salary
$100k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive complex Splunk deployments and integrations alongside customers across varied use cases
- Provide technical guidance on effort estimates for configuring, installing, and developing against Splunk
- Analyze machine data generated by physical, virtual, and cloud IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal product and technical teams to deliver solutions and communicate customer-driven feature opportunities
- Develop innovative solutions, share best practices, and maximize customer adoption and value of Splunk
- Enable customers to resolve future questions independently
Requirements
- At least three years of current experience in technical consulting or big data analytics
- Experience exploring and understanding data from multiple disparate sources
- Understanding of common enterprise applications, especially security and finance applications
- Experience with Unix and Windows operating systems and command-line interfaces
- Recent experience with bash, Java, Python, .NET, databases, and analytical tools
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders from IT administrators through executives
- Strong organization, customer interaction, speaking, prioritization, and deadline-management skills
- BA/BS in computer science, computer engineering, finance, mathematics, or a related field
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin, Splunk Cloud Certified Admin, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, or Splunk Core Certified Consultant certifications are listed
- Statistical and analytical modeling experience is a plus
