Responsibilities
- Lead development of Android features using Jetpack Compose and reactive programming.
- Partner with software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product stakeholders to create high-performing customer experiences.
- Own delivery of major platform components and functionalities in alignment with architectural direction.
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members in Android engineering and design system methodologies.
- Collaborate with Android, iOS, API, and web developers across disciplines.
- Lead technical discussions, review pull requests, and promote Kotlin and Jetpack Compose best practices.
- Drive process improvements, identify technical challenges, and develop collaborative solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver team commitments while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of experience building native Android applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of Android application development and 3+ years of Kotlin experience.
- Preferred: 1+ years of Jetpack Compose experience and 1+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience with agile practices.
