Responsibilities
- Develop Android features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and reactive programming.
- Collaborate with software engineers, UX/UI designers, Product Owners, and Analysts to create customer experiences.
- Own major platform components and functionalities in alignment with architectural guidance.
- Review pull requests and promote Kotlin and Jetpack Compose best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members in Android platform engineering and design system methodologies.
- Partner with Android, iOS, API, and web developers across disciplines.
- Lead technical discussions, identify challenges, and drive process and engineering improvements.
- Participate in team agile ceremonies and deliver committed work with high quality.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of experience building native Android applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin.
- Preferred education includes a bachelor's, master's, or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes 3 or more years building Android applications and using Kotlin.
- Preferred experience includes at least 1 year with Jetpack Compose, open source frameworks, and Agile practices.
