Responsibilities
- Design and develop product features from functional specifications using efficient and optimized source code.
- Lead Python-based full-stack development across front-end, back-end, APIs, data layers, third-party integrations, and AI models.
- Review and challenge technology stacks and API choices while balancing technical quality and time to market.
- Lead product or project delivery, including code reviews, design reviews, technical coaching, and mentoring.
- Map functional specifications to product features to ensure accurate and complete coverage.
- Perform techno-functional testing and automate testing using Python, Excel, VBA, or other suitable tools.
- Partner with architects and application teams to deliver secure solutions and provide support across sprints, testing, and hypercare.
- Guide and coach junior technical analysts and testers.
Requirements
- 7-12 years of hands-on development and design experience, with the required skills section specifying 8-14 years of technical source-code development experience.
- Experience in a risk domain such as enterprise risk, operational risk, internal controls, internal audit, or third-party risk, or experience in financial risk, banking, capital markets, wealth, or asset management.
- Deep experience in AI engineering, AI design, AI adoption, vector databases, Python AI frameworks, RAG models, LLMs or SLMs, agentic AI integration, agentic AI workflows, and AI model operations and pipelines.
- Strong Python back-end development experience, including API creation with Django or FastAPI, microservices, data integration, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience deploying applications to Azure, AWS, or GCP and implementing version-controlled CI/CD pipelines with Git.
- Experience implementing Python-driven machine learning models and ML operations, with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with Angular, React, MEAN or MERN stacks, Node.js, Power BI, cloud certifications, and AI or ML certifications.
