Responsibilities
- Attend specification and architecture reviews and identify testing risks, issues, gaps, and customer-impacting concerns.
- Define test strategies and plans covering functional and non-functional requirements, test cases, and traceability.
- Design test cases and scripts, prepare test environments and data, and execute testing campaigns.
- Provide go/no-go sign-off for tested features and production defect fixes based on defined exit criteria.
- Maintain and optimize regression suites using testing metrics, including stabilization and removal of flaky tests.
- Automate test cases and contribute to improvements in the test automation framework.
- Investigate customer-reported issues, test fixes, and enrich test suites accordingly.
- Open, investigate, assign severity to, and report software or documentation defects.
- Communicate testing activities, milestones, risks, and quality status to developers, analysts, stakeholders, and line management.
- Mentor newcomers, support QA peers, share technical and functional knowledge, and promote QA best practices.
- Drive proposals to improve quality processes and assess the environmental impact of tested applications and QA activities.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in QA or software development.
- Practical knowledge of Robot Framework and Playwright automation frameworks.
- Programming skills in Python, TypeScript, Java, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as Octane.
- Knowledge of GitHub repositories, BDD practices, Visual Studio, and the .NET framework.
- Experience with agile methodology and a good understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
