Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, debug, and maintain automated test strategies, frameworks, plans, and cases for web, mobile, database, and web-service applications.
- Lead end-to-end quality activities, including functional, system, regression, integration, performance, load, API, manual, and user-acceptance testing.
- Build automated test coverage and continuous integration and delivery testing using JavaScript or languages such as C#, Java, and TypeScript.
- Develop and execute tests across applications, devices, platforms, web services, Tibco services, APIs, and system interfaces.
- Review product specifications and lead test-strategy, test-plan, test-architecture, and requirements reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Track, prioritize, report, and help resolve defects throughout product releases and lifecycles.
- Mentor Software Test Engineers and collaborate with developers and Agile or IT teams on test planning, estimation, execution, and issue resolution.
- Evaluate and recommend testing tools, maintain testing documentation and traceability, and report testing metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of software test experience with test automation focused on web, mobile, database, or web services.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, C#, TypeScript, or other applicable programming languages.
- Advanced understanding of web frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, Node.js, and Express.
- Advanced understanding of testing tools such as Selenium, Jasmine, Protractor, Cucumber, Appium, or Cypress.
- Experience with regression, functional, unit, integration, coverage, performance, and load testing.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and using API testing frameworks such as Karate, Gatling, JMeter, or Postman.
- Experience with test-management tools such as qTest, ALM, TFS, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as Amazon AWS, Azure, Heroku, Perfecto Mobile, and SauceLabs.
- Experience with Agile software development and tools such as Rally, Jira, TFS, or ServiceNow.
- Understanding of source-control tools such as Git or Subversion and service-oriented architecture.
- Experience reviewing and providing feedback during pull requests, plus strong critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
