Responsibilities

  • Define technical vision and architecture for large-scale supply chain platforms.
  • Lead architecture and design decisions across products and development teams.
  • Provide technical leadership across discovery, implementation, deployment, and operational support.
  • Mentor engineers, technical leads, and engineering managers.
  • Coordinate multiple development teams, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery workstreams.
  • Partner with product, operations, architecture, platform, and business stakeholders on roadmaps and execution.
  • Establish engineering standards for cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps automation, observability, reliability, and software quality.
  • Set standards for responsible AI-assisted engineering, including review, security, and code-quality expectations.
  • Lead technical experiments and prototypes involving architecture, tooling, and emerging technologies.
  • Communicate technical direction, delivery health, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions to senior leadership.
  • Work directly with supply chain teams to ensure platform decisions reflect operational needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years designing and delivering complex enterprise software solutions, including large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, modern integration patterns, and scalable platform design.
  • 5+ years delivering software with React, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, REST APIs, Docker, Terraform, and Serverless technologies.
  • Experience setting technical direction and influencing across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted engineering practices and improving those capabilities across a team.
  • Experience leading or coordinating multiple software development teams and mentoring senior engineers or technical leads.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, system design, domain-driven design, APIs, event-driven systems, security, observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Experience integrating data, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities into production enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to align roadmaps, manage dependencies, drive execution, and communicate technical strategy to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SAFe or other agile delivery certifications, experience with supply chain or manufacturing platforms, globally distributed teams, LLMs, AI agents, and enterprise technology transformation.
