Base Salary
$162k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide project leadership for software design processes serving internal and external consumers.
- Provide technical project management to test engineers and support teams.
- Build, deploy, monitor, and manage highly performing and highly available production systems.
- Implement platform-level event architectures, messaging, and caching solutions.
- Write readable, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Lead the design and implementation of APIs, services, system tasks, and cloud solutions.
- Improve the performance and reliability of existing solutions.
- Identify system bottlenecks and architectural risks.
- Coach newer or less experienced scrum team members and communicate technical issues and action plans to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or a related field and six years of software development experience in Node.js or Python.
- Alternatively, a master’s or foreign equivalent degree with four years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree with one year of relevant experience.
- Six years of experience with backend development in Node.js or Python; architecture, design, and design patterns; Angular or React; Postgres or AuroraDB; React web applications; at least one specified AWS technology; and identifying system bottlenecks and architectural risks.

- Base salary is $161,797-$204,285, with possible additional incentive compensation.
