Base Salary

$162k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

Provide project leadership for software design processes serving internal and external consumers.
Provide technical project management to test engineers and support teams.
Build, deploy, monitor, and manage highly performing and highly available production systems.
Implement platform-level event architectures, messaging, and caching solutions.
Write readable, maintainable, and efficient code.
Lead the design and implementation of APIs, services, system tasks, and cloud solutions.
Improve the performance and reliability of existing solutions.
Identify system bottlenecks and architectural risks.
Coach newer or less experienced scrum team members and communicate technical issues and action plans to management.

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or a related field and six years of software development experience in Node.js or Python.
Alternatively, a master’s or foreign equivalent degree with four years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree with one year of relevant experience.
Six years of experience with backend development in Node.js or Python; architecture, design, and design patterns; Angular or React; Postgres or AuroraDB; React web applications; at least one specified AWS technology; and identifying system bottlenecks and architectural risks.

Fully remote work is available from anywhere in the specified country, with the employee reporting to Atlanta, Georgia.
Base salary is $161,797-$204,285, with possible additional incentive compensation.
Flexible paid vacation, seven paid holidays, and up to 160 hours of paid annual wellness time are offered.
