Base Salary
$121k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant software for the Genesys Cloud platform.
- Shape architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing systems with development partners.
- Design and implement major changes and new features.
- Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and improve system reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Review code and provide peer feedback.
- Coach, guide, and train more junior development staff.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical pain points.
- Manage major technical projects, including delegation of work and product review.
- Troubleshoot production issues and develop solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus five years of experience in a computer-related occupation, or a master’s degree in a related field plus three years of experience.
- Experience developing applications with Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with REST-style web services and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Experience developing, managing, and working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Linux, networking concepts, and AWS Cloud technologies.
