Base Salary

$136k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support SSO, federation, MFA, and authentication solutions using Ping products.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across Ping Identity capabilities and IAM domains.
  • Drive adoption of authentication and authorization reference architectures aligned with Zero Trust and enterprise IAM standards.
  • Integrate legacy and modern applications into SSO with secure onboarding and IAM best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication, federation, and identity-related issues across systems.
  • Implement and support machine-to-machine authentication, OAuth2 client credentials, and API security.
  • Build automation-first identity workflows using APIs and event-driven integrations.
  • Support identity architecture for AI agents, non-human identities, and application-to-application authentication.
  • Design scoped, least-privilege authorization for MCP servers and agent permission boundaries.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience architecting and implementing IAM solutions, preferably with strong Ping stack expertise.
  • In-depth experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
  • Strong experience with SSO, federation, authentication, and authorization architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with PingFederate, PingID, PingProtect, PingVerify, DaVinci, and Authorize.
  • Experience designing PingOne DaVinci identity orchestration workflows.
  • Experience with API security and integration patterns including REST, JSON, and Postman.
  • Experience managing non-human identities such as service accounts, APIs, bots, and AI agents.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust, Just-in-Time access, AI-agent identity patterns, and AI security risks.
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise IT across cloud, network, systems, and identity infrastructure.
  • Experience with Okta or SailPoint is a plus.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
