Responsibilities
- Develop code using Java, Spring, and SQL/NoSQL technologies.
- Solve technical problems using current technologies and software engineering best practices.
- Evaluate alternative technical solutions and explain the advantages of the selected approach.
- Ensure technical designs are correctly incorporated into implementations.
- Provide technical expertise across projects.
- Conduct research and implement proof-of-concept solutions as required.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of Java/J2EE development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Oracle.
- Proficiency with Spring, Spring Batch, schedulers, Spring JPA, Apache Camel, XML, and REST services.
- Experience with unit testing using Mockito and JUnit, test coverage, and code quality practices.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Exposure to SOAP APIs and WebFlux is preferred.
- UI knowledge in JavaScript, Vue.js, and Node.js is preferred.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MariaDB, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB is preferred.
- Experience with Git, SVN, or other distributed version control systems.
- Strong understanding of Java, design concepts, patterns, and coding standards, along with the ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions.
