Base Salary
$97k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, reliable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Participate in software lifecycle phases including design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
- Optimize and troubleshoot backend services, database interactions, and system performance.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, systems engineers, testers, and mission stakeholders.
- Work independently and as part of a technical team in a mission-critical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and six years of relevant experience, graduate degree and four years of related experience, or ten years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Expertise in backend web application development with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience with Docker, OCI-compliant systems, Linux, Windows Server, GraphQL APIs, space operations, SDA systems, or orbital modeling and simulation tools.
- DoD 8570 compliance and CompTIA Security+ certification are preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, collaboration, and independent-work skills.
