Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software and database solutions.
- Perform database programming, data management, database patching, and lifecycle management.
- Install and configure Oracle Database on Unix systems.
- Manage disaster recovery and high availability capabilities.
- Install and manage databases on Linux systems.
- Apply software standards, development processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle.
- Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, document development, and analyze system capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM field.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Nine years of professional experience.
- Security+ certification.
- Database administration and database programming experience.
- Experience with data management, database patching and lifecycle management, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database and products and PostgreSQL Database and products.
- Knowledge of Linux database installation and management.
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping, data access objects or layers, and object brokers.
- Knowledge of Docker or Podman with a database focus.
