Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, reusable production-grade ML and GenAI services.
- Productionize PoC and PoV work into hardened solutions with defined performance, resilience, cost, security, and ownership requirements.
- Build and maintain MLOps and LLMOps pipelines covering releases, testing, packaging, promotion, rollback, model versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Develop reusable libraries, templates, reference architectures, and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
- Implement logging, metrics, tracing, model performance monitoring, quality and drift checks, and actionable alerting.
- Partner with data scientists, data engineers, platform teams, and governance and risk stakeholders to deliver auditable, documented solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, documentation, engineering standards, and team coaching.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience delivering end-to-end production services with operational ownership.
- Proficiency in Python and modern engineering practices including clean code, testing, packaging, dependency management, and Git-based workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, API-based serving, and batch or stream inference.
- Practical MLOps experience including ML CI/CD, model packaging, release management, automated validation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of ML and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow and the Python ML ecosystem.
- Experience working with complex, multi-layered datasets, including imbalanced data, and integrating data pipelines into AI services.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying web APIs with Flask or FastAPI.
- Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server or Postgres.
- Strong stakeholder communication, organization, prioritization, time management, and delivery skills.
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience; a master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Model explainability experience or knowledge of tools such as SHAP is desirable.
