Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, relationship management, and advisory services to existing enterprise customers.
- Partner with Sales and Solutions teams on pre-sales discussions, solution design, API consultations, demos, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
- Guide new enterprise customers through API integration, implementation, and onboarding.
- Translate customer, partner, vendor, regulatory, and local-market requirements into clear specifications for global product and engineering teams.
- Serve as a technical and product subject matter expert for Alpaca’s platform and help customers adopt new features.
- Create sales support materials and documentation, coordinate with local compliance and operations teams, and travel as needed.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise or B2B customers in technical sales engineering or solutions engineering roles, ideally at API- or SaaS-first companies.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and software integration workflows, with hands-on experience using APIs, WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
- Fluency in Mandarin for customer interactions and sufficient English proficiency to collaborate with the global team.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, manage multiple assignments independently, and drive projects to completion.
- Preferred qualifications include fintech, capital markets, brokerage, financial API, broker-dealer, securities, post-trade, settlement, enterprise sales, SIE or Series 7, Metabase, FIX, OpenAPI, ReadMe, and technical documentation experience.
