Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation strategy and execution for the Product Controller platform supporting Product Control and Volcker reporting.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy software for technology projects and programs.
- Evaluate and resolve moderately complex technical challenges involving technologies, procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and meet client needs.
- Support proactive risk monitoring, governance, issue identification, escalation, remediation, and compliance obligations.
Requirements
- Software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with Java.
- Experience with SQL.
- Agile experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is preferred.
- Familiarity with the financial industry is preferred; knowledge of over-the-counter derivative products is a plus.
