Base Salary
$105k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical services, support, and leadership to customers during complex modernization projects.
- Design deliverables and assist with deploying Rocket products and implementing new solutions under Delivery Architect direction.
- Deploy fit-for-purpose workloads in hybrid-cloud infrastructure and support transitions from monolithic applications to cloud-native API microservices.
- Advise customers on technical issues, distinguish product defects from enhancements, and facilitate defect resolution.
- Communicate project status and risks to technical leads and project managers while maintaining effective customer and team relationships.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant technical experience and experience with complex IT project implementations, customizations, or maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Rocket Enterprise Server and Enterprise Developer.
- Technical experience in at least two additional areas, such as IBM Enterprise COBOL or PL/I, IBM CICS, IMS, JCL, relational databases, Windows, Linux/UNIX, or major cloud infrastructure.
- Experience analyzing test results, resolving defects, managing multiple tasks, and communicating effectively with customers and project teams.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Mainframe application modernization, COBOL modernization, workload migration, data modernization, DevOps tooling, automation pipelines, and relevant cloud, business, IT architecture, or Agile certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in another European Union language is preferred.
