Responsibilities
- Design and develop performance measurement, analytics, and reporting software.
- Build scalable and robust ETL data flows for a large data platform.
- Develop object-oriented software using Java and/or Python.
- Work with Spark and cloud infrastructure to execute data workloads.
- Contribute to DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to design and support technology for Fidelity’s institutional business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology-related field is required.
- At least five years of design and development experience is required.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Oracle databases.
- Experience with Java and/or Python object-oriented software development.
- Hands-on Spark experience, using Java or Scala.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies, Docker, and EKS.
- Experience building scalable and robust ETL data flows.
- Strong design and analysis skills for large data platforms.
- Experience with Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and Docker in DevOps and CI/CD environments.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred but not required.
