Base Salary

$135k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex architectural analysis and detailed technical design for end-to-end solutions across platforms.
  • Define organization-wide standards, processes, guidelines, and web and cloud strategies.
  • Code, test, implement, document, and deploy solutions using web and cloud technologies.
  • Lead large-team design sessions, development meetings, committees, and projects.
  • Collaborate with development staff, contract and offshore engineers, and business product owners in an agile environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and recommend solutions based on cost, business needs, and system impacts.
  • Lead web development staff and potentially supervise employees.
  • Prepare technical presentations and keep current with advances in software development technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Six years of Core Java or .NET experience.
  • Expertise with .NET/C#, Python, Java, object-oriented and functional programming, Spring Framework, J2EE, service-oriented architecture, dependency injection, and core architecture.
  • At least five years of experience with database design techniques and philosophies, including relational, document, star schema, and Kimball models.
  • In-depth knowledge of NoSQL technologies including MS Cosmos DB, Apache Cassandra, and Amazon DynamoDB.
  • At least three years of cloud services development experience with AWS or Azure and related support tools.
  • Expertise with build, deployment, development, distributed computing, integration, service, microservices, API, continuous integration, container, and frontend technologies listed in the posting.
  • Ability to analyze problems, communicate technical information, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, big data, real-time streaming analytics, data warehousing, ETL, technology certifications, and financial services.

  • Moderate travel of 10–25% may be required; relocation assistance is not provided.
