Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Unified Data Library program and Infrastructure PAE.
- Lead classified data integration across Unclassified, Secret, Top Secret, and SAP environments, including Cross Domain Solution implementations and classified network architectures.
- Advise Space Systems Command leadership on system requirements, architecture, and systems engineering practices.
- Architect and evaluate cloud-native systems primarily in AWS GovCloud, database technologies, API Gateway solutions, and software architectures.
- Lead geographically distributed teams performing systems engineering, integration, and testing, while mentoring team members.
- Ensure mission assurance for space-specific data products and distribution systems.
- Prototype emerging technologies and author technical white papers and strategic planning documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Twelve or more years of technical and leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading technical teams of five or more people on complex integration projects across organizational boundaries.
- Hands-on experience in at least three of software development and code review, cloud architecture and deployment, database design and optimization, API development, or DevOps practices.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Experience with integrated, multidisciplinary, multi-organizational teams and geographically distributed team members.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain a security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced technical degree, knowledge of government data systems such as the Unified Data Library, Clairvoyant, or Warp Core, experience deploying resilient data systems, government acquisition and lifecycle experience, Space Systems Command experience, BMC3I knowledge, and current SAP clearance.
