Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, test, debug, and document Java/J2EE software for C2BMC Regional Applications.
- Develop operating-system-level applications and services supporting mission capabilities.
- Perform software analysis, complex problem resolution, technical support, performance analysis, and operational integration.
- Design and implement automation tools to improve system efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support software integration, formal testing, deployment, and validation in complex multi-system environments.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, integration, test, cyber, and operations teams to resolve issues and improve operational resiliency.
- Prepare design descriptions, test procedures, test reports, and user support documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field with 5 years of experience; or a related master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- Current, active, in-scope government-issued Secret security clearance is required at application and must be maintained to start.
- Experience with Java/J2EE or alternate object-oriented development; additional C++ experience is desired.
- Experience with coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, build pipelines, configuration management, and version control.
- Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux-based systems; Windows experience is desired.
- Experience using Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, Eclipse, or similar development tools.
- Understanding of systems engineering artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.
- Preferred qualifications include command-and-control, large distributed real-time or near-real-time systems, software integration and formal testing, cybersecurity and RMF, performance tuning, scalability analysis, microservices, and DevSecOps.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills are required.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
