Base Salary

$104k - $155k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, test, debug, and document Java/J2EE software for C2BMC Regional Applications.
  • Develop operating-system-level applications and services supporting mission capabilities.
  • Perform software analysis, complex problem resolution, technical support, performance analysis, and operational integration.
  • Design and implement automation tools to improve system efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Support software integration, formal testing, deployment, and validation in complex multi-system environments.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, integration, test, cyber, and operations teams to resolve issues and improve operational resiliency.
  • Prepare design descriptions, test procedures, test reports, and user support documentation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field with 5 years of experience; or a related master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
  • Current, active, in-scope government-issued Secret security clearance is required at application and must be maintained to start.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE or alternate object-oriented development; additional C++ experience is desired.
  • Experience with coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, build pipelines, configuration management, and version control.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux-based systems; Windows experience is desired.
  • Experience using Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, Eclipse, or similar development tools.
  • Understanding of systems engineering artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.
  • Preferred qualifications include command-and-control, large distributed real-time or near-real-time systems, software integration and formal testing, cybersecurity and RMF, performance tuning, scalability analysis, microservices, and DevSecOps.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills are required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
