Base Salary
$94k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop simple, reliable, high-quality backend software that scales for a growing customer base.
- Develop and maintain tests to ensure software remains functional, maintainable, and safe to refactor.
- Perform long-term support and maintenance, including performance optimization, bug fixes, feature additions, design improvements, usability improvements, and automation.
- Document systems so they can be maintained by future developers.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as a first responder for software owned by the team.
Requirements
- Experience designing and implementing features in cloud-based backend systems.
- Experience with at least one major programming language, such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, or Python.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
- Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Passion, curiosity, and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
- Familiarity with the Agile Scrum process.
