Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy cybersecurity features throughout the implementation-to-release lifecycle.
- Build and maintain control-plane and data-plane software for cloud security systems and packet processing.
- Collaborate with architecture and design teams on implementation patterns and strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, staging-environment testing, and quality assurance.
- Improve system scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Support release planning and reliable delivery of new customer features.
- Troubleshoot complex backend, networking, and security issues.
- Integrate third-party tools and services and contribute to customer-driven product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
- Three to six years of hands-on experience designing and developing large-scale cloud deployments.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and coding agents for development, debugging, testing, and productivity.
- Experience with cloud environments, Kubernetes, virtual machines, Docker, and persistent multi-cluster databases.
- Strong programming experience in Golang, Python, and Bash.
- Experience integrating third-party tools and services and working with APIs and authentication mechanisms.
- Understanding of cybersecurity features including tunneling, threat intelligence systems, DNS security, firewalls, IPS/IDS, deep packet inspection, and WAF/proxy systems.
- Preferred experience with automation testing tools and networking concepts including routing, Docker networking, NAT/NPT, IPv6, and firewalls.
- Demonstrated customer-driven innovation and market-oriented product development experience.
