Responsibilities
- Design intelligent autonomous AI workflows using multi-agent collaboration, orchestration, Workato connectors, workflows, and recipes.
- Design and deploy context-aware, grounded, real-time agentic AI solutions using large language models.
- Develop prompting, memory-management, and behavior-planning techniques for reliable agent and workflow execution.
- Troubleshoot and analyze AI architectures, including scalable RAG pipelines and agent frameworks.
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and improve scalable AI-powered IT workflows and system performance.
- Work with customers to understand use cases and deliver tailored agentic AI and RAG-based solutions through successful implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI workflows into existing IT frameworks.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and Workato’s knowledge base.
- Participate in product development from ideation through implementation and assist the product manager with technical and design specifications.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible information for non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- BTech/BE or higher technical education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and implementation, including at least 3 years of Workato experience.
- Proven AI engineering experience focused on agent-based systems and scalable AI-driven workflows.
- Hands-on integration experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, enterprise messaging, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and databases.
- 2–3 years of coding experience with Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP/XML APIs, JSON data structures, and RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
- 5+ years with integration platforms such as Workato, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or comparable integration and automation tools is preferred.
- Experience with iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, and cloud business applications such as Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Marketo is preferred.
- Knowledge of API-based integration, event-driven architecture, BPM, or RPA is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, critical-thinking, analytical, communication, prioritization, research, and problem-solving skills.
