Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance the open-source application platform that provisions infrastructure, installs applications, and keeps applications running reliably in production.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production operation.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex development initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and help develop their software engineering skills.
- Collaborate with development teams, operations teams, and product managers to solve complex problems.
- Apply DevOps practices as part of a global team operating 24x7.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of commercial experience regularly delivering quality software and overcoming technical challenges.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and at least one other modern programming language.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a master’s degree, a PhD, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, customer focus, and willingness to continuously grow engineering skills.
