Responsibilities
- Design and build massively distributed systems at web scale.
- Develop the core backend of the Cohesity Data Platform and Cohesity SpanFS filesystem.
- Work on distributed storage, filesystems, object storage, cloud services, concurrency, performance optimization, resiliency, replication, and fault-tolerant infrastructure.
- Debug, diagnose, and fix complex production software.
- Drive tasks and projects to completion while taking ownership of assigned work.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of infrastructure or backend development experience.
- BE/BTech degree in Computer Science with proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Strong understanding of large-scale engineering challenges and highly available distributed systems.
- Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and parallel processing.
- Strong programming and debugging skills in C, C++, Golang, or Java.
- Experience with distributed storage, filesystems, or object storage is preferred.
- Ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively.
- Ability to use AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
