Base Salary
$157k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on Stepful’s learning management system, including adaptive learning, peer engagement, gamification, and motivational features.
- Build generative-AI-powered career services such as resume generation and interview training.
- Design and maintain platforms for instructors, teaching assistants, coaches, and operators.
- Build technology for scalable content and curriculum generation and iteration.
- Create reliable, accessible data pipelines that support business, learning, and operations teams.
- Own the full development lifecycle in a full-stack engineering role.
- Participate in recruiter, technical, behavioral, and onsite interviews.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience owning the whole development lifecycle and operating comfortably across the full stack.
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Backend familiarity with Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
- Ability to solve complex problems, learn new technologies, and build in an early-stage company.
- Direct-to-consumer startup experience, especially in EdTech or Healthcare, is preferred.
