Base Salary
$105k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, test, configure, modify, and support software projects, products, utilities, and operating system components.
- Implement and test complex code changes, resolve defects, and add enhancements to current and future software releases.
- Execute cloud-based configuration plans and support on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
- Perform root-cause analysis, resolve monitoring issues, and contribute to corrective action and prioritization plans.
- Develop and support API-led integration solutions using design patterns, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Create technical documentation for testing, quality assurance, training, troubleshooting, operations, installation, maintenance, and API standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical and enterprise architects, scrum masters, coaches, and other stakeholders.
- Test modified application solutions, including load and performance testing of APIs.
- Mentor other developers on integrations, interfaces, proxies, business objects, and business services.
- Work off-hours when required for projects, support, upgrades, outages, or system implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or business, or at least nine years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree requirement.
- At least five years of relevant experience for the Senior Software Engineer level; the Lead Software Engineer level requires at least seven years.
- Hands-on experience with the Oracle EPM suite is required.
- Preferred experience includes Oracle Cloud EPM, EPCM, Consolidations, Planning, Essbase, ODI, FDMEE, SmartView, and Financial Reporting Studio.
- Preferred experience includes one to three years of DRM/EDMCS application development and maintenance for the Senior level, or three to five years for the Lead level.
- Preferred experience supporting and optimizing Hyperion integrations using native Oracle technology and MuleSoft.
- Strong understanding of FP&A principles and best practices is preferred.
- Utility or energy corporation experience is a plus.
- Good analytical, communication, leadership, and human-relations skills are required.
