Base Salary
$240k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technology strategy, solution architecture, and architecture governance engagements aligned with client business and transformation objectives.
- Conduct technology due diligence and architecture assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and modernization initiatives.
- Define end-to-end architectures, target-state blueprints, roadmaps, reference architectures, and transition strategies across applications, data, integrations, cloud, and AI.
- Lead enterprise platform evaluations, vendor assessments, proof-of-concepts, architecture reviews, and recommendations.
- Design AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, GenAI, data platform, model operations, governance, security, and responsible AI architectures.
- Provide architecture leadership during implementation programs and ensure alignment between business requirements, technical designs, and delivery execution.
- Assess cloud strategies across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and hybrid environments for scalability, resiliency, security, and cost efficiency.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical workshops with executives, business leaders, engineering teams, clients, and vendors.
- Evaluate APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, integration approaches, and interoperability requirements.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints throughout program lifecycles.
- Contribute to proposals, solution estimation, client pursuits, reusable architecture assets, accelerators, and intellectual property.
- Mentor architects, engineers, and consultants and support enterprise architecture, governance, standards, and application portfolio initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 10–15+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, technology consulting, software engineering, or related technology leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions across multiple industries and technology domains.
- Experience leading technology due diligence, architecture assessments, modernization initiatives, and implementation delivery.
- Experience developing end-to-end architectures spanning applications, data, integrations, cloud infrastructure, security, and operational processes.
- Hands-on experience with cloud architectures and services across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience designing AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and GenAI-enabled enterprise solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, distributed systems, APIs, integration architectures, and modern application development practices.
- Experience evaluating enterprise platforms, conducting vendor assessments, and leading proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to executive stakeholders and influencing strategic technology decisions.
- Preferred experience with TOGAF, Zachman, cloud architecture certifications, enterprise platforms, AI governance, MLOps, responsible AI, data governance, master data management, cybersecurity architecture, identity and access management, DevSecOps, and software delivery maturity.
- Consulting or professional services experience, pre-sales and proposal experience, executive presentation skills, and experience building reusable architecture assets are preferred.
