Base Salary
$157k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on Stepful’s learning management system, including adaptive learning, peer engagement, gamification, and motivational features.
- Build generative-AI-enabled career services such as resume generation and interview training.
- Design and maintain platforms for instructors, teaching assistants, coaches, and operators.
- Build technology for scalable, adaptable educational content and curriculum creation.
- Create reliable, accessible data pipelines that support business, learning, and operations teams.
- Own the full development lifecycle across frontend and backend systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience with ownership of the entire development lifecycle.
- Hands-on familiarity with React and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Familiarity with Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails for backend development.
- Ability to solve complex problems, learn new technologies, and build in an early-stage company.
- Experience at a direct-to-consumer startup, especially in EdTech or healthcare, is preferred.
