Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the sales team as a Dynatrace and Advanced Observability expert.
- Deliver product demonstrations, including executive presentations and demonstrations at customer, industry, and partner events.
- Create and manage onsite and remote proof-of-concept engagements and lead technical solution evaluations.
- Participate in cloud architecture discussions and support sales opportunities directly or through channel partners.
- Partner with sales representatives to identify new and incremental opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance throughout discovery, solution evaluation, and solution proposal stages.
- Complete RFIs and RFPs and troubleshoot technical issues to produce working outcomes.
- Build customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor and coach to partners.
- Gather customer feedback for Product Management to improve market share and meet market needs.
- Collaborate with innovation labs, Expert Services consultants, customer success managers, marketing, sales, and other solution engineers.
Requirements
- Fluency in German is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
- At least 3 years of SaaS pre-sales or solution engineering experience.
- Previous Solution Engineering or pre-sales experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple projects and sales stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong communication, presentation, teamwork, adaptability, and customer-facing technical value articulation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Preferred experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, .NET, PHP, Go, Node.js, databases, Windows, Linux, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices, AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, OpenShift, serverless functions, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.
