Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand their problems and guide product and engineering decisions.
- Build and ship full-stack features from discovery through production.
- Use AI-native development tools to accelerate delivery and improve impact.
- Own zero-to-one projects, including customer billing and portal experiences.
- Prioritize initiatives, decide what to build, and stop work that is not delivering value.
- Address energy retail needs including procurement, customer retention, and cost optimization.
- Help shape engineering culture, tools, and processes, and support team growth.
Requirements
- Typically 2 to 13 years of experience, with exceptional technical ability demonstrated through shipped products, founding work, research, competitions, or comparable accomplishments.
- Strong full-stack skills and experience delivering products end to end from discovery to production.
- Comfort using AI-native coding tools in the development workflow.
- Fluent German at C1 level or above.
- Experience or strong interest in energy retail, including billing, procurement, retention, or cost optimization.
- A degree from a strong university and early-stage startup experience are valued.
Benefits
- Annual salary of EUR 80,000 to EUR 120,000.
- On-site work in Berlin, Germany, normally five days per week.
