Responsibilities
- Lead customer technical projects by designing and delivering production-grade data, AI, and application systems.
- Own architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
- Build and deploy data pipelines, custom applications, reference architectures, and ML/AI model integrations.
- Embed with customer teams, provide technical guidance and training, and support successful Databricks evaluation and adoption.
- Coordinate technical delivery with customers, project managers, architects, engineering, developer relations, and customer support.
- Provide implementation and product feedback and contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering.
- Ability to write code in Python, Scala, JavaScript, or TypeScript and use modern frameworks.
- Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems, with expertise in one or more of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Deep distributed-computing experience with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
- Experience designing and deploying performant production data architectures and applications combining data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
- Experience delivering technical projects, including managing scope and timelines and translating complex concepts into actionable solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and managing conflicts across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and white-boarding skills, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to explore technologies supporting Databricks-based solutions.
- Databricks Certification.
