Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement robust, maintainable automation frameworks for evolving technologies and platforms.
- Develop, debug, refactor, optimize, and review production-quality automation code and reusable framework components.
- Integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle and delivery pipelines in partnership with development, DevOps, product, and business teams.
- Define and own enterprise test strategies while addressing stability, scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- Establish automation metrics and KPIs to reduce manual effort and accelerate release cycles without compromising quality.
- Evaluate emerging tools and AI-driven testing approaches to modernize testing processes.
- Mentor engineers at all career stages and provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software testing and automation, including substantial SDET coding experience delivering scalable enterprise solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong JavaScript coding ability; Python or Pytest experience is a plus.
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks from scratch and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with UI, functional, API, performance, and BDD testing frameworks, including Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, and SpecFlow.
- Breadth across functional, integration, regression, mobile, data, security, component, and UI/UX testing.
- Proven technical leadership, strategic influence, and the ability to communicate technical decisions to senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe delivery practices.
- Familiarity with CAPA management and exposure to Power BI, Splunk, or similar monitoring and reporting tools are preferred.
