Responsibilities
- Define and own the automated test strategy and framework for dashboards, microservices, and data pipelines.
- Design and develop automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end test scripts.
- Mentor and technically guide Automation Engineers on test architecture, tooling, and best practices.
- Integrate automated test execution and reporting into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and technical leadership during design and code reviews to improve testability.
- Define test coverage metrics, quality KPIs, and defect management processes.
- Triage test failures, investigate root causes, and drive defect resolution with development teams.
- Prepare test plans, test protocols, and test reports for quality management and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate test tooling, frameworks, and automation libraries and improve test efficiency, coverage, and execution speed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software quality engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior automation role.
- C# experience as the primary automation scripting language.
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification.
- Experience with automation frameworks or tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Python, Kubernetes, Docker, API testing tools, and performance testing experience are preferred.
- Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks from scratch in agile or SAFe environments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience in regulated software development environments using IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or FDA frameworks is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, test coverage, and requirements-to-test-case skills.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools for test design and automation.
