Responsibilities
- Define benchmarking requirements, metrics, and strategy for FlashArray products across diverse platforms.
- Provide technical direction, leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to software and performance engineers.
- Develop performance validation strategies for critical customer use cases in collaboration with Product Management, Solutions Engineering, and Sales Engineering.
- Analyze Linux storage and networking performance bottlenecks and identify optimizations for throughput and latency.
- Translate performance data into actionable engineering improvements and support high-quality product releases.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and executing system-level performance testing for enterprise-grade servers, storage, SAN protocols, and databases.
- Expert-level proficiency with Linux systems, including network configuration, storage stacks, system settings, and command-line utilities used for performance tuning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers and provide architectural direction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience converting performance analysis into engineering improvements.
