Responsibilities
- Define benchmarking requirements, metrics, and validation strategies for FlashArray products across diverse platforms.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers while providing technical direction and architectural guidance.
- Research and model customer use cases with Product Management, Solutions Engineering, and Sales Engineering.
- Analyze Linux storage and networking performance bottlenecks and identify throughput and latency optimizations.
- Translate complex performance data into actionable engineering improvements and high-quality product releases.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and executing system-level performance testing for enterprise-grade servers, storage, and databases.
- Expert-level proficiency with Linux systems, including network configuration, storage stacks, system settings, and command-line performance-tuning utilities.
- Experience with SAN protocols such as iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide architectural direction to software and performance engineers.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with experience converting performance analysis into engineering improvements.
