Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and review code for Azure Local product features using coding patterns and best practices.
- Develop automation for production and deployment and validate functionality in simulated or non-production environments.
- Improve developer tools and share engineering tool-gap insights across programs and applications.
- Integrate telemetry for performance, reliability, availability, usage, and safety monitoring, including notifications and dashboards.
- Collaborate with Microsoft engineering partners to deliver appropriate product and user experiences.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual on call, monitoring service health, responding to incidents within SLA timeframes, and escalating issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable Microsoft, customer, or government security screening requirements.
- Preferred: master's degree and 3+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with containers, Kubernetes, Helm charts, .NET, C#, Golang, automated regression pipelines, and DevOps engineering practices.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, self-direction, and ability to learn quickly.
