Responsibilities
- Design and architect complex software applications, components, web services, and APIs.
- Develop, test, document, refactor, publish, and support secure and scalable software and integration services.
- Develop and optimize data models for transactional and analytical workloads.
- Plan and coordinate releases across teams, manage release lifecycles, and lead post-release reviews.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and observability tools for automated deployments and testing.
- Lead design and code reviews, improve team standards and processes, and provide technical mentorship.
- Define and execute small projects or sub-projects, including planning, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and governance.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, quality, costs, time, and resources, taking corrective action when needed.
- Ensure software and releases meet quality, security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in relevant software development positions.
- Experience with enterprise-scale, high-volume and highly concurrent data solutions.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL data storage mechanisms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and JSON.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Event Hub and with API integrations.
- Ability to work autonomously, resolve complex technical issues, influence stakeholders, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas, evaluate technologies, support team development, and apply secure, private, and ethical practices.
- Deep industry and domain knowledge with the ability to adapt, apply, and share expertise.
