Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and support AWS services powering Agilent.com and connected digital experiences.
- Build serverless AWS ETL services and data pipelines for product, content, search, and customer experience data.
- Enhance AWS product data cache and product data services for reliable, performant, and scalable customer-facing access.
- Develop AWS APIs and integration services connecting AEM, PIM, Coveo Search, commerce, analytics, and other digital platforms.
- Build relational, NoSQL, and graph-oriented database services and Graph API solutions for connected-data use cases.
- Configure and optimize CDN capabilities, including origin setup, cache behavior, invalidation, routing, and performance.
- Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, logging, performance tuning, operational support, and secure engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, platform operations, security, analytics, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to design, estimation, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, release readiness, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, data services, integration services, or enterprise digital platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience designing AWS serverless solutions with Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, Glue, DynamoDB, Aurora, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and related services.
- Experience building AWS ETL services and production data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, enrichment, validation, orchestration, monitoring, error handling, and replay.
- Strong API development experience, including REST APIs, Graph APIs, authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational, NoSQL, and graph-oriented AWS database services and data modeling.
- Experience integrating AWS with Adobe Experience Manager, PIM, Coveo Search, eCommerce platforms, content platforms, or customer-facing web applications.
- Experience configuring CDN platforms such as Akamai, Wangsu, or similar services.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Node.js or Python for APIs, ETL services, automation, backend services, and AWS integrations.
- Understanding of event-driven architecture, microservices, asynchronous processing, serverless patterns, data quality, cloud operations, security, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, testing, observability, and production support.
- Ability to translate platform and stakeholder needs into reliable, scalable, and maintainable AWS services.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with agentic development techniques and AI-assisted coding is a way to stand out.
- Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform, particularly in hybrid or multi-cloud environments, is a plus.
