Responsibilities
- Own user support and triage workflows for EDA environments, configurations, and software integrations.
- Diagnose workflow failures across toolchains, configurations, infrastructure, and AI/GenAI agent workflows.
- Configure and onboard projects and users while driving scalable adoption and enablement plans.
- Define functional specifications, real-world test cases, reproducible debugging scenarios, and comprehensive validation strategies.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve observability, debuggability, stability, and regression testing.
- Validate MCP-based autonomous execution, tool invocation, orchestration, and non-deterministic behavior.
- Measure performance using QoR metrics including TNS, WNS, congestion, runtime, and memory.
- Integrate tools into automated validation and regression pipelines and enable usage telemetry collection.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of Applications Engineering or Customer Engineering experience, preferably in Physical Design, PNR, or floor planning.
- Strong knowledge of VLSI, Physical Design, and EDA workflows.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI, MCP, and RAG workflows, with the ability to debug complex software and tool issues.
- Strong Python, Linux, and scripting experience, plus the ability to run and debug end-to-end workflows independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of related experience; alternatively, a master's degree with 1+ year or a PhD in a related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred experience with AI/GenAI tools, agent frameworks, orchestration systems, evaluation or benchmarking pipelines, CI/CD, large-scale systems, HPC environments, workflow improvement, UX, or developer productivity.
