Responsibilities
- Own and lead end-to-end integration solution design and delivery across complex enterprise programs.
- Define integration architectures, API strategies, reusable frameworks, and enterprise integration standards.
- Create, review, and govern High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs.
- Develop resilient workflows and orchestrations using Azure Integration Services.
- Design, publish, secure, monitor, and govern APIs through Azure API Management.
- Build event-driven and asynchronous architectures using Azure messaging services.
- Architect hybrid integrations between on-premises systems and cloud platforms.
- Use Microsoft Copilot and generative AI for code development, refactoring, documentation, workflow design, testing, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Integrate Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services into integration solutions.
- Implement observability using Cribl and ensure secure, compliant data handling.
- Lead technical design and code reviews, mentor team members, manage risks and escalations, and enforce engineering standards.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams while building a high-performing integration team.
Requirements
- 9–12+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on cloud and iPaaS integrations.
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Extensive experience creating HLDs and LLDs, designing architectures, and documenting solutions.
- Strong experience with API architecture, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Expertise in event-driven, microservices, and hybrid integration architectures.
- Experience leading large-scale enterprise integration delivery.
- Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot or M365 Copilot, understanding of prompt engineering, and familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows are preferred.
- Exposure to Azure OpenAI or other AI services integration, AI/ML use cases, intelligent automation, AI governance, ethics, and secure AI adoption is preferred.
- Experience with MuleSoft architecture or coexistence strategies is preferred.
- Knowledge of EDI, XML, JSON, and large-scale data pipelines is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), and optionally Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102).
