Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer’s sales lifecycle.
- Build sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Educate customers on best practices for securing identity.
- Quickly discern customer technical needs through detailed questioning.
- Advise customers on possibilities using Okta’s Identity Platform.
Requirements
- Experience in PreSales roles such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer.
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
- Knowledge of standard network security protocols like OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, and LDAP.
- Experience in identity governance and administration (IGA) and Privilege Access Management (PAM).
- Understanding of core security concerns within applications.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, including MEDDPICCC.
- Experience working with Large Enterprise and/or Strategic sectors.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate business value.
- Willingness to travel and meet customers.
- Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams.
