Base Salary
$148k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term testing strategy and quality culture for the AI Platform, emphasizing quality by design and automation by default.
- Define quality metrics and coverage standards with product and engineering teams to establish measurable, sustainable quality outcomes.
- Grow test coverage through scalable, domain-specific automation and maintain complex test datasets with developers.
- Guide test planning for new features across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Improve testing processes, perform targeted exploratory testing, discover risks, inform automation, and validate model outputs.
- Coach and mentor engineers on scalable quality practices and serve as a strategic partner for delivery standards and release gates.
Requirements
- Fluency with AI tools and a proven track record of using them to accelerate software delivery and processes.
- Deep knowledge of at least one of Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and deep understanding of QA theory and practice.
- Experience with Test Management Systems such as Allure TestOps, API testing, and UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of continuous delivery and the ability to set direction autonomously without a dedicated QE team or manager.
- Experience coaching engineering teams on quality-by-design and shift-left practices while influencing without direct authority.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience setting up and configuring CI/CD tools and pipelines is preferred.
- Understanding of GraphQL and experience with performance engineering using k6 or similar tools are preferred.
- Expertise in observability using OpenTelemetry or Grafana, backend or data pipeline testing, and financial data is preferred.
- A BS or MS degree in a relevant technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology is preferred.
